PERMODALAN Negeri Selangor Berhad (PNSB) in collaboration with technology partners for the implementation of the Selangor Freelance Initiative, Workana has organized the Opening Ceremony of the Selangor Freelance Initiative at the Wyndham Acmar Klang Hotel on 28 October 2021.
The Selangor Freelance Initiative is part of the Selangor Digitization Agenda and is implemented by PNSB as a corporate social responsibility (CSR) program for the people of Selangor.
This initiative will provide an opportunity to generate income for skilled Selangor citizens through digital freelance employment opportunities that can be done remotely. This initiative will provide training assistance as well as incentives to participants to explore job opportunities online.
The inauguration of the Selangor Initiative was completed by YAB. Dato ‘Seri Amirudin bin Shari, Dato’ Menteri Besar of Selangor. Also speaking at the opening ceremony were YM Raja Ahmad Shahrir Iskandar bin Raja Salim, Chief Executive Officer of PNSB and Tuan Alejandro Kikuchi, Head of Asian Markets for Workana.
The ceremony was attended and witnessed by HE Manuel Jose Balaguer Salas (Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina to Malaysia), YB Dato ‘Salim Bin Soib @ Hamid (State Legal Adviser), YB Dato’ Haji Haris bin Kasim (State Financial Officer), and YB Mr. V. Ganabatirau (State Government Exco).
Also present, Y.Bhg. Puan Hajjah Norita binti Mohd Sidek, Chief Executive Officer of the Menteri Besar of Selangor (Incorporation) (MBI) and Y.Bhg. Dato ‘Hasan Azhari Bin Hj. Idris Chief Executive Officer of Invest Selangor Berhad.
