Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad, or as it is more widely known, PNSB is a Selangor State Government subsidiary, under the supervision of Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) or MBI.

Through its subsidiary, PNSB offer insurance service through PNSB Insurance Brokers Sdn. Bhd. (PIBSB), project management consultant service via PNSB Management Consultancy Sdn. Bhd. (PMC), mining through PNSB Trading Sdn Bhd (PTSB) and aeronautical exploration services via PNSB Aero Frontier Sdn Bhd (PAFSB). Bhd. (PIBSB), project management consultancy through PNSB Management Consultancy Sdn. Bhd. (PMCSB), mining through PNSB Trading Sdn. Bhd. (PTSB) and aerospace exploration through PNSB Aero Frontier Sdn Bhd (PAFSB).

With its mission to diversify its business, PNSB intends to seek opportunities to work with investors through its subsidiary, PNSB Investment Venture Sdn. Bhd. (PIV).

PNSB also does not shy away from taking a leading role in executing its corporate social responsibilities as it is a government agency with conscience taking an active role in corporate social responsibility (CSR) on behalf of the Selangor state government and PNSB itself.

Cognisant of its corporate responsibility, PNSB is committed to executing its business with integrity and transparency. Towards this ideal, it has adopted a zero-tolerance approach towards bribery and corruption, culminating in an anti-bribery and corruption policy.

Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy

The formulation of PNSB’s anti-bribery and corruption policy is aligned with all the relevant laws and regulations according to the standards prescribed by the relevant government agencies.

This reflects PNSB commitment in prioritising integrity in all of its business deals and transactions. The policy is aimed at ensuring the group’s day-to-day operations is free from all forms of bribery and corruption.

Code of Ethics and Business Conduct Policy

With the aim of setting the highest standards of integrity and governance, PNSB has set up a Code of Ethics and Business Conduct Policy. This policy sets out the core values and principles for the group’s employees in the course of their duties.

Whistleblower Policy

Given that integrity is one of the core principles of PNSB and its subsidiaries, the policy is formulated to establish proper procedures and for whistleblowers to disclose any suspected inappropriate, unethical or unlawful behaviour and practises by the management or employees.

In addition, this policy also outlines the protection of whistleblowers from any punishment or unfair action, if the disclosure is made in good faith.

Gift Policy

As the culture of giving and receiving gifts is the norm cultural practice, especially during the festive season, PNSB has formulated a Gift Policy as a guideline for giving and receiving gifts among PNSB staff and its subsidiaries. Because company staff members deal with outside parties in the course of their work, this policy ensures that their work is carried out with integrity.

Conflict of Interest Policy

Aiming to eliminate bias and nurture a professional workforce, PNSB has formulated a Conflict of Interest Policy to ensure that the interests of the company are given priority by its employees while performing their duties. This policy provides guidance and examples on various forms of conflicts of interest as well as procedures and solutions to address such issues.
